May 3rd Prayer
Gracious and Holy God,
We come before You as one body, gathered in the name of Jesus Christ,
on a day when we will remember His sacrifice and celebrate His living presence
among us.
We give You thanks for Your Church across the world-
for every congregation, every pastor, every leader.
Strengthen Shiloh Church in truth and unity. Guard us from division, and root us deeply in Your Word and grace. Make us faithful witnesses to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We pray for those in positions of leadership-our pastor and leadership team.
Grant them wisdom, courage, and humility. May they shepherd this church family with integrity and love, always pointing others to Christ.
We lift before You the needs of our congregation: those who are sick, grieving, or burdened; those facing uncertainty, loneliness, or fear. Draw near to them, as healer and comforter. Let them know the peace that surpasses all understanding.
We pray for our communities and our world-where there is conflict, we ask that You bring reconciliation; where there is despair, bring hope. Use this body of believers as instruments of Your peace.
We offer all these prayers in the name of Jesus Christ,
who gave Himself for us and now reigns with You and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and forever.
Amen.
