Dear Shiloh Church Family,
Grace and peace to you in the name of Jesus Christ!
As we embarked on a new year, we were excited to share some important updates regarding membership at Shiloh Church. As a congregation within the Global Methodist Church, we were committed to aligning ourselves with the denomination's doctrine and discipline, specifically paragraph 322, which provides a clear definition of membership and its expectations.
To strengthen our commitment to one another and to foster a deeper sense of belonging, we implemented an annual membership renewal process. This process involved completing a commitment card that allowed everyone to identify their current level of engagement with Shiloh Church.
Annual Membership Renewal: Sunday, January 12th, 2025
We invited you to join us for a special time of commitment and renewal during our worship service on Sunday, January 12th, 2025, at 10:00 AM. During this service, we:
We understand not everyone was able to attend the service on January 12th. Commitment cards are available at the church office and online through our here.
Important Note:
This renewal process is not intended to remove anyone from membership. It is an opportunity for us to come together, reaffirm our commitment to Christ and to one another, and create a stronger, more vibrant Shiloh Church.
We are convinced that a clear understanding of membership, coupled with intentional commitment, will lead to a more vital and thriving church community. We looked forward to sharing this journey of renewal with you!
You can find those resources and commitment cards below.
